This video is a blast from the past by Disney studios, circa 1957, of a proposed mission to Mars featuring rocket scientist Wernher Von Braun. It amazes me how forward-thinking it is, even today.

Amazing that half a century ago these were the kinds of foreward thinking ideas that our culture was fostering in popular media.
I wonder why they specifically chose cesium plasma for their concept?
I always loved this series. I fix computers and technology in my business, but I also do classes for kids on space and dinosaurs and such. That’s why I posted this on YouTube and also TeacherTube.com (for teachers and such that can’t see YouTube in schools).
