Thank you, Mr. Wizard

We owe a great deal to Don Herbert, known to millions as Mr. Wizard. Mr. Herbert passed away on June 12, 2007 after a long bout with bone cancer.

He showed us that science is amazing, and that the world of ordinary things — a baby bottle, a candle, a dollar bill, a balloon, etc… can reveal the magic of the physics and chemistry which underlie our universe. Rest in peace.

I hadn’t heard he had passed on. He will surely be missed. Thank you for finding and sharing these videos, Jorge.

I grew up watching Mr. Wizard and am grateful for the chance to revisit his grand way of introducing science principles. Thank you, Jorge.
