Interesting post! Especially since just a week ago I assembled a grill for the holiday weekend and it was made in China (of course) and while cleaning up the packing materials I saw a weird looking creature crawling across the garage floor. At first I thought it was a centipede which we have a lot of in this area but upon closer observation (as it headed towards entry to the house) it appeared to have a head of a wasp, body of an ant and a tail like nothing I have ever seen before. I wanted to save it to see if anyone to identify it and when I pushed it away from the door to the house, it raised it's tail like a scorpion. I quickly found a glass jar and put it on top of it and slid the lid on, all the while it had its tail in a defensive position, like a scorpion. I have not yet attempted to identify it but since I never saw anything like it in this area, I feel it may have come out of the box from which the grill was packaged.
